In 2010 I drew, "Dagger Angel," with mechanical pencil on 100% cotton 14x17 paper and then colored her in photoshop. I always loved tribal tattoos, I fantasized that they could be a door into a fantasy realm. If you write them on your body they can conjure powers, but only for a moment till they fade away. Or if your born with them you're given the gift of supernatural lifetime abilities.
STORY
Angel,is a trained assassin and waits upon her soon-to-be, victims bed. When he arrives, he is sure to have a happy surprise. But when she suddenly uses her dagger upon her skin, like a pen and with no blood spilt, he becomes even more frightened as a gateway into an unknown dimension opens and begins to drag him inside. So, beware of owners of tribal tattoos, for if you get on their badside...
