In 2022 I painted, "Gotham City: Year One#2" through DC, with Posca, and Prismacolor pencil on Strathmore 11x17 paper. This was the first cover DC directly asked me to do for them and not through a retailer. She's the Grandmother to Bruce Wayne.
When I was deciding what she would look like, I thought about the idea that some men unintentionally like girls that resemble their mothers. So it lead me to give her the look of Catwoman. Then there was the posture of uncertainty - the left hand, and strength - the right hand. I discovered that in order to get the cover you would have to buy 25 of the regular book to get 1 copy of her.
