In 2010 I drew, "Rise of the Phoenix," with dry pastel and Prismacolor pencil on Cougar 20.5x29.25 paper stock.

STORY

In the vast galaxy an attempted destruction of the ancients known as the Antediluvian Council has swayed the universe for generations.  The rebellion leader, a new deity, brought upon a time of civil war, as solar systems have broken away from the collected nine Empires and are waging war. The universe who appointed the council to rule has no alternative, a new adversary would arise to annihilate the new deity. From the depths of a created sun the next wielder of fire was born. Her name is Inferno, and she will use her elemental power to take down her assignment.  But does she truly trust the council or universe to know if this deity is good or bad? Just because someone labels someone, does that mean it's true?
